the new house is almost ready to move into!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
Couldn`t clean last w/end cos I`d forgotten the painters had to give it a final coat & they only need to do the bathroom ceilings today & 2 bedrooms, they`re doing that today. Kitchen arrived yesterday & being fitted & I`m going to pick the w/top this morning, electician coming this morning to fit shower as well( he`s just rang now to say what time), so I`ll be making a start cleaning up this afternoon, furniture being delivered Monday(I hope!) There are still a few things not done like the stair rails & the mirror in one of the /bthrooms but I don`t care, I just want to get in, feels like I`ve been waiting for ever!!!!!!! New house here we come :D :D :D

Don`t knoe about smooth move tho but I`m sure nothing can be as bad as living here while it was being built, it`s been over a year now & I don`t know how many times we`ve nearly been divorced Just as I posted this topic earlier Bern came in & said lorry load of stuff & workers arrived, it was the a/c & c/h.... I`d forgotten it wasn`t in argghhh!! But they`ll be finished half the house today so will be cleaning that half tonight. I must be mad looking forward to cleaning but can`t wait I`m so excited :D :D New bed arrives tomorrow so might even be sleeping there w/end.....

You are over the worst .. :-)

We moved into the last one we built and as someone forgot to inforn the gas board in writing we had no gas, ( 14 days connection after letter) but we still moved in.. I was fed up waiting.   I hired 2 a gas bottle heaters and they did the trick and our hob was a glass induction so we could cook :-)

   We built 3 houses one after another and only had one fully completed when we moved it. :-).   The one we are in now we didn't build but bought it for the plot size from someone else. It has cost me 2 times what I could have built it for redoing it... sods law.

We will wait for the updates of how it is going and of course how marital bliss has been resumed. ;-)

Joe,  Ille look after Norman,  Ille take time off work we can go out see some ducks,  go to the swings and stop off on the way home for a swift half. Then snuggle on the sofa with a good DVD and some nibbles.

Might have been just a bit too optimistic, so far I`ve only managed to clean a bedroom (not windows tho), hall, bathroom & made a start on the kitchen floor, got to do b/room wall tiles again tho. Dust & saw dust is unbelievable & everywhere. Going to finish kitchen & living room today (I hope!) mt arms are killing me & I`ve got segs on my hands from wringing mop out, good job there`s no mirrors cos I must look wrecked There`s tiles right the way thru the house & it takes a lot of washing to get them clean after they`ve just been laid. Tell you what I did last night tho, we`ve got a shower unit with massage & suana so I went over & gave it a go last night & it was lovely, so at least I can relax after all the cleaning!!! :D :D :D
