Denver (my big 6 month old lab) has dark patches under his eyes. It looks like I can see his skin? I am not sure why. Is this a sign of an illness of some sort? His fur is beautiful everywhere else, and he is flea-free.

At 6 months he's growing fast and as the coat is very short there it is not unusual to be able to see through it. This is particulaly the case with a well pigmented yellow Lab
