You have to pay tax on all your income, Tim - we all do!

The Inland revenue will need a return from you showing all your outgoings & incomings, but will not allow for your time

So you must keep very accurate recorde & submit them by Serptember each year the the IR will tell you how much tax you owe.

Be warned if you don't submit returns & advertise your puppies anywhere the IR will pick it up & you will have produce all the information from day one

So you have to keep every receipt/invoice for the money you spend & receive for your dogs & if you make lots of money you will have to register for VAT & if you think the IR are difficult the VAT people are worse & you have to pay them the VAT too & will not do any calculations for you either

Edited to add & if you are on benefits you will have to declare full details to them & you risk losing all or some of your benefits
