does anyone have a dog (mine is a Setter) with an enlarged heart - what medication are you prescribing and the benefits of it.  My dogs was diagnosed with a x-ray but am wondering if i should have insisted on an ecg or a referral to a specialist - I was not offered anything other than an x-ray at the time.

Guest, we are not in a position to prescribe anything, in fact in the UK it is against the law. Best to take your vets advice and if you do not trust their advice then change your vet.
