Hi

I am posting this on a friends behalf.  He has a JRT bitch who is approx 5 yrs of age.  My friend has had her for about 8 months and up until about 8-9 weeks ago has had no problems with her.  My friend has got a new partner who he has been with for this length of tme and since then when she is left she has started messing in the house.  She is fed twice per day and walked twice a day.   Could this problem be jealousy or seperation anxiety?.  She has had three other homes in her lifetime.  Any help would be appreciated as my friend wants this to be her forever home but obviously needs this problem nipping in the bud asap.

It's probably more linked to the changes in the dogs life that are giving her stress which is causing the messing incidents.  A DAP defusser may help calm her, or flower essences in her water (I believe Walnut is the one recommended for change...........)
