i  have decided not to let my girl have pups , does that mean  i cant show her ???

Hi Bev, you can still show your bitch regardless of your intention not to breed from her. If you end up having her spayed though, you must write a letter to the Kennel Club informing them that she is spayed and asking for permission to continue showing her. They will write back giving their permission.

thanks dawn, i will have a spayed when she is a bit older, i dont like the idea of unwanted pups and that can happen ....

Bev, I'm not advising or even encouraging you to have your bitch spayed, I don't condone neutering for the sake of it. Whether or not you have her neutered is your decision and yours alone, but unwanted pregnancies can be avoided by taking proper care of the bitch when she's in season, not allowing her to roam and in fact never letting her out of your sight for 3 weeks or so at a time. I keep 3 entire males and 4 entire females, and have never had even a close call.

Hi u can still show her I have got three collies and one has got pups at the moment but we are still going to show her later in the year if I was u I would just try to show her What type of dog is she? Whatever type of dog she is I bet she is beautiful I hope u have a successful year ahead.
