My labrador puppies, yes two of them, will be old enough to show in july, what classes can I enter them for, and what restrictions are there, I have one bitch and one dog, I also have two older labs, but have never shown. I feel really thick, and dont want to ask anyone face to face, I have been going to a lot of shows recently to get the feel of them and watch the handlers. Any advice would be a great help.

Pups can be enterd in any class except vetren. It is best to enter in minor puppy, puppy or junior. have you got another handler for the second pup or will you be showing both? If showing both then either enter one in each class or do alternate shows, if two handlers then put them in the youngest age class there is at each show.

Thanks, No I dont have another handler,I thought about alternating them, but have seen at some shows, bitch and dog classes overlap, I was also worried about entering one into a class and not being able to make it because of this overlap, would this not get me a bad reputation for missing classes. Also can you tell me what shows I can enter for, Ie; limit, championship, open etc.

You won't get knocked for missing a class, you might find that people in the breed will be willing to help.
You can enter any type of shows, all are a different level. Champ shows being the highest, with the qulifying classes for crufts, open and limited being lower.

Hi rox,
Do you just have setters? and how many?

I have 4 irish red and white setters and then 3 aussie shepherds with my gradparents!
Also handle numerous other breeds!

hi Rox,
How lovely,
I really like the red and whites.
A lady at our ringcraft breeds and shows them,so im often around the rings to watch.
Dont have any experience with aussies though.
Gundogs are my fortay.

who is it you know in red and whites? Personally I prefere aussies to my red and whites but then aussies are more reliable and I don't lve with them 24/7, don't get me wrong I still love my red and white!!!
