Hello again, sorry I haven't been around for the last 48 hours but there's a very good reason for that !!!

Purdey Sireva Rhannigal Rumble arrived safely from the North of England yesterday, Monday.

It's been a bit hectic around here. She's the most beautiful silver grey bitch and she is delightful.

She's settling in really well and I'm proud of here already, weez training has run like clockwork since she first entered the garden. She's a gorgeous little thing, although her razor like teeth are not quite so sweet! Having said that I cannot believe that having won the "who's boss" argument she is being so good. That is apart from about an hour and a half each evening when its "show time in the looney bin".

Purdey has taken to her "bed" really well after a few tantrums and is at the moment sound asleep on her duvet in the lounge while I take time out for a much-needed soak in the bath. Good old Mum's here to keep an eye on her for a couple of hours.

Everything is SOO interesting out here and the poor pheasants, resident muntjack etc don't know what has happened to their sanctuary. Purdey however has had a great day today, her first venture within her full boundary. My my it smells so interesting out here. Oh No , what was that??? Oh that's a sheep noise, oh & a pheasant, and a little sheep - should I be afraid of it, or it afraid of me she asks?

I have waited 29 years for this little bundle and she is, as you all warned me very active when it's time to be a pup, very snugly when its time for a settle on her mat and, after the initial protest very safe and sound in her kennel. Did I say sound??? Sorry couldn't here myself think for a second there, it must have been the sound of the quality street tin lid on the table to initiate some quiet around her kennel- what an excellent piece of advice from Gill Simpson, her breeder.

Amazing how harmless she looks now, asleep on her mat as if butter wouldn't melt in her sharp little mouth!

She is a handful but thanks to past experience and advice from her new pals on champdogs she is happy, healthy, eating well, sleeping well, going weez well, being very affectionate and LOVING her new home as much as we love having  her here.

Anyway, must dash, I'm off for a long soak in a nice scented  bath and guess what - Purdey's not invited!!

Speak to you all soon,
Pushy

Hey glad to hear shes getting on so well :) We got our little bundle of joy on Saturday and hes been settling in well, isn't it funny just how many things excite them and how much there is to explore?
Razor sharp teeth are a nightmare, he bit me so hard the other day he made my finger bleed !!! to be fair on him he wasnt actually trying to bite me i was trying to get something out of his mouth and he was sorry afterwards.... i think

anyway glad its all going so well, im sure you will have your hands full keeping her occupied and keeping her out of trouble..

Have fun

Hi Pushy, Sireva is one of the few lines I recognise ( Gunnalt being the other one) and what lovely Weims they are! :) Sounds as if everything is going to plan for you all. Bet youre sneaking a look at her every few minutes to gloat.. I waited a long time for my dog too and did exactly that amongst other soppy things. Lovely to have such a large area for her to make early forays into though. Pals with Weim pups have been driven daft trying to keep them occupied in an average suburban garden pre jag. Give her a hug from the Weim addicts up here. :)

As my friend who owns Sireva landlord said her dogs litter was due to leave. Let me know if it was this dog as I can put you in touch with the sires owner.
