Is anyone else going on Sunday?
It will be Chloe's first show after she missed the Open show last Sunday, and we're worried about her playing up.  How good are the other minor pups likely to be?  Her ringcraft is ok, but she sometimes gallops on the run apart from that she manages to keep fairly still on the stand.
My sis is dreading having the worst behaved dog there!

Hi Rachel,Don't worry about her behaviour. So far, Lola has been to three shows. The first two we got a second. I was chuffed to bits with her. On Sunday we went to our first outdoor show :( What a catastrophe!! Lola wasn't interested. She wouldn't run nicely and didn't like the judge! (cos it was a man :D  ) I was sooo embarrased. I felt like I did when my children had tantrums - everyone seemed to look disdainfully at me. It probably was in my imagination :) I wasn't ever going to enter another show ever , ever, ever. I'm over it now. Next show is Dunstable Open. Liverpool is a bit far for us - but good luck and don't worry :)

I'll let you know how she gets on.
Not expecting much from her first show, but you never know :)

In my eyes a minor puppy should be allowed to play up abit.  As long as the judge can get his/her hands over the dog and see the teeth and the dog will move for a few paces so the judge can see the dogs movement then it is ok!  I have never yet had a large minor puppy behave (still ahve a 5 yr old who gallops!!!)  so if I was you I wouldn't worry about her slightly mis-behaving, Go in have fun, and you will most likly be supprised!

At ringcraft last night she was a star!
So hopefully that's a good sign.

Hi Rachel,
How did you get on at the show? We have our next show on Easter Monday. After the horrendous time we had last week, I'm not sure I havce the nerve to do it again.
