my 6 month pup wont eat his dried food without having titbits added, now he is just picking out the titbits, any advice

Put his dried food, minus any tidbits, down. Leave it down for 15 mins. If he hasn't eaten it by then pick it up. Do not feed anything else until the next scheduled mealtime. Put dry food down. Leave for 15 mins. If he hasn't eaten it pick it up. Repeat as necessary until he does eat. A well dog will not starve itself to death, and as yours is not refusing all food he would seem to be healthy. He is just trying to get you to dance to his tune. Do not let him succeed!

(You could try moistening the dry to make it more appetising, but do not give in and add extras).

I would agree with all this with the added caveat that sometimes dogs do not eat a dried food for a reason!  You don't say what he is on but have you thought of Naturediet? This is not dry but vacuum packed meat, rice and veg or Burns which is dry meat, oats, rice and veg; both of these are pretty natural without all the additives etc that many other foods have.
