hiya woodsford,
tablets very rarely make you loose weight, most are just a scam!
im guessing the tablets you mentioned- speed up the metab system?
the best thing you can do is eat lots of fruit and have 3 healthy meals a day, try to eat every 3-4 hours. 6 glasses on water a day or juice if you prefer.
trust me i lost 3 stone in 8 months, this way, when you stop using tablets most people pile the weight on again. the above way will make you healthy and you will maintain a healthy weight.
dog walking is a great form of exercise, go on longer walks - good for you, and the dogs will love it!
best wishes

we ve got a cadbury cream egg promotion in our shop, with every film you develop you get a eggy! only ive ate a whole box (2day & saturday), i cant stop eating them, im going to be huge & my boss is going to go nuts!!!!!!!

I have been doing weight watchers for last 3 weeks. I have not cheated and used on average 23 points a day of the 24 points allowed at my weight range (I have a lot to loose :( ). I have lost 13 pounds in 3 weeks with eating the same amounts throughout. Lost 4 1/2 first week, 7 2nd and only 1 1/2 this week, but it is the general trend that is important. The average weight loss with them is 7 pounds a month, which is a steady healthy rate.
The whole ethos seems to be about eating normal food, but reducing saturated fats and replacing emprty calories with plenty of fruit and vegetables. Getting sufficeinet calcium and water intake is also part of the healthy eating principle.

well done!
ive just hidden the empty box of CCeggs!
i just seem to have NO will power at the moment!& keep wearing my baggy trousers so i dont have to face up to the truth (ie MY JEANS!!!)

I'm joining Slimming World tonight, just gotta remove some of this weight before Summer as I know I'm the one getting fed up when all around are bearing flesh! I only hope I can do it although right now I'm more than determined.

Well todays weigh in I nearly cried as the lady said I had gained 2lb, and I had been so good!
Sat down and saw that todays weight was 3lb less than last week???? Went back and queried, got re-weighed, and it gave redult as 2.5lb less than last week.
Total loss in first four weeks 15.5lbs.
Just another 4 stone 12lb to go :D

I stuck to weight watchers for 4 weeks not cheating once and exercising most days and I never lost an ounce and was so bloated.
I am now on my own version of atkins and I am losing weight and no longer bloated.
I know its not the ideal diet but its the only one that works for me.
If I eat to many carbs my stomach balloons.

I recently went to a talk at our local community centre on nutrition, the title of the talk being 'Food and Mood'. The nutritionist who gave the talk was quite inspirational and I would recommend it to anyone. She spoke of the importance of keeping blood sugars stable and avoiding the peaks and troughs where we can easily overeat. There was lots of discussion on the changes that have taken place in our eating habits over the years with the increase in processed foods and how diets NEVER work. The only way to tackle weight is to change your eating habits entirely. She explained how low fat diets don't work because you actually need fats for energy, it's just important to be the right sort of fats.
I immediately came home, threw away my vegetable oil and spreads, bought some cold pressed olive oil, used up all my packets of junk stuff and started eating decent food just like we did in the olden days! I certainly feel healthier although I don't have scales to judge the weight loss, my friend who came with me has lost 6lb this week! I have never known one person who did a diet and lost weight for ever, we all need to eat what is right for US and that is not necessarily the same as the next person.

The thing I like with W. W. is that you can eat which foods y6ou like, it is your choice, as long as you don't exceed your points allowance and eat clacium containing food and fruti and veg, so having a problem with Carbs shouldn't be an issue.
