can anybody give me some advice on this, have a whwt of 10mths.was at his first show on sat and goes to ringcraft every week.at vets this afternoon diagnosed with this. problem is had to get my mother to take as we work so we didnt speak to vet any tips , advice appreciated.especially trying to get him to take his medicine as i think ive frightened him. i used a syringe but not with much luck.also vet said he should been vacinated 2 weeks before show but breeder didnt advise

Do you mean he has been diagnosed with Kennel cough or you have been for KC protection ?

If he has KC it is extremely contagious and you need to stay away from other dogs for quite some while . You should not any shows or ringcraft either until its cleared up completely because of this :(
Even when his physical symptoms have gone it is still contagious
Ring the vets tomorrow and ask to speak to him so that you know exactly what was said

was diagnosed with kc was given 2 injections some tablets and medicine

Keep him away from all other dogs (walks, training, ringcraft, shows etc) for at least 21 days.

The injections and tablets will not clear this up immediately and as I mentioned earlier he will still be contagious to other dogs :(
that includes those he meets on his walk too
