i have a lab which was due in a good 4 wks ago, theres been no change in her behavior, ive been checkin her mornin and night she sees me coming now with a tissue she rolls over for me,today i checked her and she had a stickey discharge does this mean anything?

How many seasons has she had? Bitches sometimes have a silent first week or a whole season, but also if she has only had one or two seasons she may not have got a proper cycle yet.

this will be her 5th she usually show colour heavily is the stickeness a sighn?

As it is her 5th she should be regular now. Check the discharge isn't a bad colour or smelly is she looking ok, no panting or looking uncomfortable, you don't want her going into a pyometra. She could just be taking her time but keep and check on her.

Sounds just like a bitch to me - your are ready but she isn't. Typical when you have things planned, I hope it works out for you.

My bitch has just come into season about 5 weeks 'late'.  I didn't realise I would actually end up so anxious about making the final decision to go ahead and mate her, but am counting down the days now!
