Hi all

I have done the search for posionous plants and have printed that off to take with me to the garden centre in about half an hour, however, I was wondering are there any plants that act as a deterrent to dogs eating them?  My 4 month lab has eaten all sorts out of the garden and I know i am never going to have a fabulous garden ever again but would be happy with a bit of greenery that she might actually leave alone.

Expecting too much here?????

I think perhaps the fact there are no answers is an answer in itself :D

I have done a mental wander around my garden and can't think of any that have never been "had" by the dogs - if they don't chew them they dig them up and if they don't do that they lay on them

Yep, think you are right!!!  Been to B&Q and got some plants - she has already tried to eat the pots and the labels.  Oh well, never mind.  Wouldn't it be a great idea if they put poison warnings on the plants though, wouldn't take much and there's plenty space on the labels for it certainly would make life easier for dog owners (and children owners!)

Thanks anyway!
