We have found a breeder of cockers and are awaiting the puppies arrival.
We had thought that as we already have a bitch at home, albeit a different breed, that a bitch puppy would be the best option.
I have read, however that male cockers tend to be more affectionate and loving, does anyone know if this is the case.
Would there be more problems between the dogs if they are not the same sex?
Our bitch is spayed and she is 7 years old.
I would appreciate views about any temperament differences between cocker dogs and bitches that anyone knows about.
