- By SUE T [gb] Date 26.03.04 16:25 UTC
Hi everyone,i am bored with my  Champdoggers name !i have just noticed that Sue T ,spells " SUET " i know i have weight to lose but .....hey ..! since i first read it that way ...cant see it as anything else ...so what can i call myself ? do you like your name ? (champdoggers name as well as your given name ) What name would you have if you could have chosen it yourself ,the way things have been going for me lately maybe Bodacea( sp ) would be fitting .....LOL.  Take care ,"not sure who yet" ...hee hee !!& Lola xx
- By lel [gb] Date 26.03.04 16:28 UTC
Hmm
like you I think i need both a new user name and a new Christian name. Something with a bit of zing and pizazz :)
- By SUE T [gb] Date 26.03.04 16:38 UTC
Hi Lel ,should it fit our personality ? or maybe just something to make us feel more ........desireable ,etc .....LOL ,(ME AGAIN ?????) & Lola xx
- By LF [gb] Date 26.03.04 18:11 UTC
I'd love a new christian name too Lel :(  My mum said that when they called me it they thought it was a really unusual name!  But there's hordes of us about!!!  Plus all the corruptions of it that people at school used to think were oh so funny :o Still, it could have been worse - if I had been a boy they were going to call me Nigel

Lesley
- By lel [gb] Date 26.03.04 18:16 UTC

I suppose we could have worse names than we do but it is quite boring isnt it ??? :D
What about something like Pandora ?
- By lilylaru [gb] Date 26.03.04 18:20 UTC

- By LF [gb] Date 26.03.04 18:24 UTC
Yes, that's the trouble, its boring!!!  It doesn't conjure up any gorgeous or glamorous or anything connotations!!  Here's Lesley, ho hum.  Here's Pandora, gorgeous sylph of enduring mystery!!!  Not quite the same is it :(  Inside every Lesley there's a Pandora screaming to get out :D

Hi ,they say  that you can often  tell a persons age by their name ,all i know is that my Mum told me that Susan was not popular when she had me , by the time i reached secondary school there were FOUR just in my class alone !! and when we had our daughters my husband didn't want names that could be shortened,,,,hence, Luisa (affectionatly known by friends as Lou ! by me as Lullabelle !!& Amy (cant get much shorter !!) she is Amy Lou !! lets face it we call ourselves anything other than what we should be called ,my OH calls me Tart !! i call him B*****d  affectionatly of course!! i believe they are called Pet names ,.....LOL ! still no nearer to finding a new CD name though !! Bye ,ANON !!!.
- By ice_queen Date 26.03.04 19:20 UTC
I love my christian name!  Not sure about the lyrics it goes with but..... :D

Also My champdogs name sutis me, sometimes!  I am normally very cold, and to take the mick many people said it was because I was and Ice queen, hence the name!!! ;)  So its a suited name, if not it would have to be my other nick name that I won't mention!!!

My name is Lesley and I never liked it as a child, especially my teenage years as it was always lesbo etc.,!  I hated the name, I don't mind it now though, just don't like it being shortened which is a bit contradictory as my cd name is craigles, how original is that, but I had to join so fast didn't think and just used hubbys name and first part of mine!  Would like to change that maybe!
- By liberty Date 27.03.04 11:15 UTC
Steady on you lot ! If you all change your usernames, I won't know who I'm talking too

Lorelei aka Gutbucket
- By Joe [gb] Date 28.03.04 19:59 UTC
Ok, you want a skinny one?  I hereby name you Spelk.  I hope you know what a Spelk is!  It's small and slim so will fit in with your positive body image.  If you don't like that you can be Chopstick but if you refuse both of these than I can honestly say you have no taste :D
- By SUE T [gb] Date 28.03.04 22:29 UTC
Hi Joe ,.......Spelk !!,couldn't even find it in the dictionary!! so did a word search .....".Yorkshire Folk talk",a thin piece of wood used in thatching ,a stackprod splint !!!!! Joe ,you need to get out more  .......LOL  ,& a chopstick !! ,i know i said i wanted a posative body image ....... what about my inny outy bits ,???????(does this mean i have no taste ? oh i do  hope so ..LOL.) Lorelei,i like Millefueille ,does not sound as fattening as Puff Pastry!.... definatly more feminine ,hee hee  xx
