We have a 6 year old pug gamby,(aswell as two pekes), who follows me every where I go, (he even sits outside the loo when i am in there) it seems he cant be on his own, he also sits on your feet when you are sitting down, that is when he is not on your lap, he is also very close to mae ling our female peke and cries if she is out side and he's inside, it is normal for a pug to be so demanding, of ones attention, we had him from a rescue home so we dont know his past, love him to bit though, even reading is impossible cause he jumps up and sits on the paper,,,,,,,

When I was at Crufts I went to 'hug a pug' on the discover dogs stand.  I asked the people who were running the stand whether in general all pugs like being picked up and hug and stuff.  The pug people said that all of their pugs loved being with them and being fussed and picked up etc, and some even 'demanded' the attention :)

I have a 5 1/2 month pug puppy and yes he is very clingy! He follows me everywhere and unfortunatley has just conquered the stairs for the first time. I think it is just people in general he loves as he will go to anyone if they give him attention!
Oh and he is not ugly but absolutely adorable!

I agreed they are beautiful sad little eyes and a sad expression who could resist loving him, even when he's been naughty, I cant tell him, even when at christmas when he emptied a box of roses all over the floor and took rappers off, or when he demolised a box of after eight mints and was sick in my daughters bed room, just that look, what have i done mommie, so cute

You're very lucky he was sick after all that chocolate. That amount, especially of plain chocolate, could have made him seriously ill. Human chocolate is toxic for dogs.

I know, but we did not think he was able to reach, more cunning than we thought, it's kept right out of his reach, quite agile little dogs, more than we realised, he only has doggie choc on special occasion's, he has even got my daughters choc hedgehog out of her school bag, so naughty

Mine hasn't managed to steal any food yet but anything you leave around he steals like pens, socks, clothes pegs, even money!

Ha bless him what is he called, and what colour is he, gamby(as we call him) is fawn and black face, with only 1 front tooth,  I bet he's cute, we got gamby from a rescue home, about 14 months ago, dont know much about his background, only his mommie died and he was left, but we think he may have been ill treated cause when we first had him and went to stroke him he coward, and was not happy unless he was sitting on your lap, right in front, of you.  He has taken to our peke mae ling, he sits by her gets in her bed, cries if she is outside and he is not, also he is not happy unless he is actually sitting right next to you usually on your feet, he just ignores Thomas, Thomas aint that keen on him, they just let each other get on with it,,,, nice to speak to another pug owner
