I have seen an advert in Dog World(page 27) - 'Massive Veterinary Bedding Sale', I was wondering if anyone had used this Company before and if the quality of the Vet Bedding was ok.

Glad you asked this one Sweep. I saw this ad too and was wondering whether to go for it or not. It is cheap isn't it?

It is a good price, I have a litter due next week and I thought I had some spare Vet Bed in the Loft, but I was wrong(typical)! So I am hoping that someone may have used this outlet, otherwise the next cheapest I've found is Denvic.

I bought some vet bedding from an outlet advertising in dogworld, froma mill in west yorkshire (i say this cos there were 2 advertisind at the time) I ordered the thin pile because the pups were going to be quite small and i didn't want them to get stuck! It cost me £15 for 60x40" including next day delivery and is just as good as any other i've seen.

Well - I have ordered some from this place, so I will let you know.

I got Denvic vet bedding and it is very good.
Well that is until the puppy started chewing holes in it!
It's lasted & washed very well my pups were born on a piece
and the pup I kept is now 9 months and deciding that each
piece should be redesigned by her own fair teeth and always in the middle, aarrrrggghhhh (LOL).
Other than the holes, they still wash well.
I was lucky as last year they did a fantastic offer at Crufts
buy one get one free. They didn't have the same offer this year.
So I'll be buying some more Denvic, when I know my horror has
stopped chewing holes!

I've not seen the advert for vet bedding as my husband did a great tidy up job and out it went.
Can anyone give me any info.... need some for a rescue centre.
Thanks

The ad was from Bronte Glen Mill shop in West Yorkshire. their telephone no. is 01274 530869. Prices were 12.00 for a piece of basic white/green size 60" x 40". I am going to order some myself as soon as the Easter hols are over.

Received my Vet bedding this morning(Wednesday) they said it would be delivered Tuesday, and I really needed it then 'cos my bitch whelped yesterday, any way - it seems like good quality, and quite good for the price.

Update on this Vet bedding - having washed this bedding now I find that it isn't quite the same and also the green dye from the backing has stained the white fleece, this was done on the usual temperature wash as before, it has also shrunk!
We learn by our mistakes :(

Sorry, feel guilty now as i said it was ok :(. The white with white backing (shorter pile) has been washed a couple of times without any problems, no shrinkage, etc.

I've never had this with any of the stuff I've bought and I tend to boil them and stick them on hot in the tumble dryer!

Good grief....I bought some of this as well. Are we talking serious shrinkage here Sweep? Is it still usable?

This is still usable - shrunk a couple of inches - not too impressed - perhaps I was just unlucky :(
Thanks for your comments
