Topic Dog Boards / General / What would your dog be if it was human??
- By luxnallsstaffs [gb] Date 23.03.04 21:18 UTC
If your dog could get a human job ( I KNOW ITS A STUPID QUESTION) what do you think they would they do? Think our btich would be a JCB Operator with the size of the holes she digs in the garden!
- By LF [gb] Date 23.03.04 21:21 UTC
Our older one would drive about in an open topped sports car, wearing a cravat and blazer, calling out "well, heelloooooo" to all the ladies :D  The younger one would be a wee boy in short trousers with pockets full of string and pet mice and his socks round his ankles.  He'd spend his days collecting frog spawn in a jam jar :D

My FCR would be a model or a fitness instructor. She is very fit & enjoys life to the full.
My Bullmastiff wouldn't be able to hold down a job ~ due to being late for work every day & lack of motivation & falling asleep on the job.  :-D

What a brilliant discussion topic, I shall be laying in bed trying to think of one tonight :-D

Isla would be a 'girl Friday' type person. Always ready to help, will have a go at everything and constantly running around 'getting' things for people. Either that, or she'd be me, I do all of the above too!!(but I'm called a mother!)

Kester, unfortunately, at the moment would be a teenager, bolshy for some of the time, but showing flashes of brilliance when he can stop looking at 'girls'!

I used to play a game up until a few years ago, imagining which breed of dogs people would be.  I would sit in the pub (yes, I HAD had a few!) and watch people and try to guess which breed of dog they would be.  I would like to think of myself as a slim labrador (wishful thinking), but have come to the conclusion that I would probably be a slightly tubby, slightly mad springer/lab/bitza mix!!

Have a go and see what you would be, its quite a laugh!!

Ali :)
(I always said that I liked crossbreeds!!)

I thought about it in bed, and decided that Millie would be an undertaker with a Saturday job as a Shoe Shop Assistant.

She spends most of her day finding things to bury, and new places to bury them (bizarely inside the house, hasn't figured out she can REALLY bury things outside!), but she's a girl, so she has terrible shoe fetish.  White shoes, black shoes, trainers, slippers, she loves them all! :-D

I think Roxy would be a porn star after her antics in the park last week when she rolled over and let the other dogs lick her bits!   Had to pick her up and put her upright to save both our blushes!!
- By kath_barr [gb] Date 24.03.04 12:28 UTC
Bess would be a private detective or a stalker because she follows me around everywhere. Mind you she'd soon be sussed as she's always so close I trip over her. :D

My dog Mia would be in the army, she is very very good at doing the comando crawl across the carpet after i've told her to get in her bed for being naughty, one minute she's sulking in her bed the next minute she's comando crawled without anyone even noticing behind the sofa, she them ambushes you by jumping up the back of the sofa and landing nearly in your lap :D

oh how wonderful it is to have dogs  :)

lol
sounds like Josh, my youngest son :D
- By dudleyl [gb] Date 24.03.04 13:20 UTC
Tess would be one of those 'hair and make-up types', beauty therapist or something.  Believe it or not she's a lab!
Honey would be anything that involves tearing about and being on the go all the time, also very nosy and watching what's going on.  Maybe a very busy private detective would suit her, would have to be outdoors 24/7 and be the boss.
Lorna

Darcy would be on the dole and sit on the couch with a can of beer and a packet of fags.

She's so lazy :D

i saw this post this morning and its had me thinking all day what jobs my three could do :)

tess would run her own pest control business and be on 24 hour call :)
JAck would either have several jobs on the go or be one of those people that cant settle in a job and keep moving about, so far he has been gardener, lock smith, childrens entertainer, burglar alarm......... :D
And after today bruce has to be in quality control at a chocolate factory,or the cadburys milk tray man, i never took him to work today, and when mum left tess and bruce to go shopping, pick the girls up from school and get me from work, he managed to find 5 aero bars that are foil wrapped and still in their multipack wrapper in a carrier bag hanging up in a cupboard, obviously he thought that it would be too dangerous for us to eat them so he thought he would save us the bother :D , or they could have been a belated mothers day gift for his mum :D ,he also tried getting a can of beer but was unable to open it, as well as finding numerous other things to 'help' out around the house, and all because he is now too big for the crate that i have but bless him no accidents

A clown :D actually we are a couple of clowns.....
- By craigles [gb] Date 24.03.04 22:31 UTC
I've been thinking about this and watching my dogs today and I guess Nell the Lhasa would have to be Hyacinth Bucket as she thinks she is so posh and stuck up but isn't really! Dicksy is going to be a bin man as he's great at emptying them and I'm sure she is often ashamed of him!
- By boxersaffie [gb] Date 25.03.04 08:49 UTC
Saffy my Boxer would be one of those people who collects things all the time and hordes them in their house till theres no rooms left (like that Mr. Trebus on 'Life of Grime').  She would also be just as grumpy as him too.

Now Max my Dally would be a Lord Something.  He is so well mannered and walks round like he surveying his estate.
