Well starting tonight I'm going back into obedience again.  I have just had a phone call from my grandad asking if I want to go to the Obedience now, he started up again with the dog I trained a couple of years ago and now I'm going to do it again!  Just hope I remember my footwork, commands etc.

Anyone got any tips for me going back?

Somehow, when you work your dog, be it obedience, working trials, agility, gundog work or whatever, for a short time it is just you and your dog. You train together, you work together and you play together and somehow you seem to grow even closer. Anna can speak to me just by looking at me just as somehow she always knows what I want just before I do!

Go and enjoy it Diane :)

Good luck with the Obedience, must admit I went to a new club and was not to impressed with their method of training, its very ruff and I have to do everything their way, even tho I have traind my dogs to a basic level another way.  One things for sure, I'm not taking my setter bitch there!!!!  Aussie girl can cope and needs the stimulation but I would confuse the setter and the trainers are ruff on all the dogs, Even if it is only a 20 min walk rom my house, theres no way I'm taking my baby!!!

Ok moan over :)
