could anyone help me! i have a great dane puppy of 7 months and ever time he gets up or when he is walking his front legs are making a cliicking sound as if you are cracking your fingers. i have been to the vets and and he said there is nothing to worry about! should i ask for an xray on his joints?

are you giving him any vitamin C? whats his diet? what exercise is he getting?

yes i would, it might be OCD, which is common in large/giant breeds, its where the joint of the elbow is not supple its all cracked and rough, it can cause the dog to limp or elbows to click.

but obviosuly without seeing the dog i cant say for sure what it is.
If you are at all worried get a second opinion from another vet, better sorter out sooner than later.
