I am trying to get my husky to work, i went to the bike shop and he suggested that i use this scooter that they imported from holland. It only has 20inch wheels but the frame and everything else seems okay, (Lightweight) is this alright to start her of on as we would only be taking her to soft, flat grassy areas and see how she goes.  I must also say would she be alright pulling my partner on it as he weight approx 13stone.  I relise this is what they are bred for but she does come from show side and now three yrs on and weight behind her she seems to be letting her instints take over and seems quite happy whem she tries to pull.  We also have her in a tracking harness would this be Okay although we are looking on the culpeppers web. at all the harness.ganglines ect.  Any advice would be very appreciated thankyou.

Hello there :) Welcome to the wonderful world of working your dog :D :D

There are a couple of websites that you will probably find informative ...try these:

ABSA Associated British Sleddog Activities site :)

Snopeak which gives details of all Sleddog activities

Give Phil at Culpeppers a ring , he can help more than you know as he runs his dogs :)

Join the Siberian Husky Club and they will be able to provide invaluable help.

If I can help in any other way, just email me :)
