we used to have one it wasent too good not enough power in it ? , now we have wood floors i cant belive the amount of fur thats left on the floor . the only problem is the hair goes the the edges of the room or on your clothes its easily brushed up thou , but i still have to sweep it 3 or 4 times a day . 2 min job :) does anyone have a static mop thing? do they work??

Got a Henry last weekend. Got fed up with my Dyson which has been useless since the day I got it. Very pleased with Henry, I thought that as the cleaning compamnies use him they cant all be wrong, Jan

Had to add my bit........ I bought a dyson animal a few months back and cleaning has never been so much fun! It really is the best thing on dog hairs and makes cleaning sofas light work too. I got my cylinder online if you go to kelkoo they can give you the best prices, I saved £75 off the full RRP but would quite happily pay the full price- it's fantastic! Put it this way, it's the only chore my boyf will do unprompted, at the beginning we even argued over who could use it!!!!! Oh dear, how sad.

There seems to be so many conflicting opinions over the Dyson.  I've had no bother with mine for years and love them :)
How long they last must boil down to the length of the pile on your carpets and how aggressively you hoover :D  Mine certainly doesn't get an airing twice a day like Briony's
