i have been asked by a friend to pet sit her sib bitch for a week, the problem is i have two of my own and this other husky does'nt like my male ,but he just sits there talking(as huskies do)but if i don't pet sit she is doing to ask the preson who she got it from to look after her where i know she wont get walked or feed properly as they could'nt cope ,thats why she was sold on(she was a rescue dog).i want to help my friend but not but my own dogs in danger

Put your own pets first, and don't sit this dog. Your friend has the responsibility of finding someone to look after her dog, she could put it in kennels, or get a professional pet sitter. Don't be browbeaten into anything because you feel sorry for her dog. Her dog is HER responsibility, not yours.

Hi Guest,

Pinklilies is right, put your dogs first.  Have you really thought about this? or do you just feel obligated because this is a friend.  If this dog does not get on with yours or vice-versa their could be blood shed and I can't see how you would seperate them.  Next you are not insured and have no liability insurance.  If something untoward happens to her dog whilst in your care, will you still be friends?  At the end of the day there are excellent boarding kennels around and also REGISTERED PETSITTERS.  You've come on here for advice and my advice to you is steer clear.

Best of Luck

Arnie
