my 10 mth old rottie has stoped eating since my bitch has come into her season he is crying every day and night (driving us mad) we dont no what to do we are going to breed from them when we get barney hip scord but i dont whant him to loos to much weight what can we do. can any one help us.????????

A good few dogs will do this if a bitch is in season with in their territory. Best to put him or the bitch into kennels.

Welcome to the joys of dog owning.  The not eating (for up to three weeks) is not unusual and nor is the constant whinging.  This is what he is like before he has been allowed to mate her - just imagine what he will be like once he knows what he is doing. 

Make sure your means of separating them is very secure if you keep them both on your premises.  He will eat again once she has finished.
