out of interest ; 9 out of 10 times that i feed my three they eat lying down!!! i never really thought about it until a visitor commented the other week.they thought it strange!!!
how do your dogs eat?

no difference what they have,chick wings,mince,porridge, milk, all lying down!!!!

Depends how mine feel. Sometimes they will lay down with the food bowl between their front feet and just eat :D Does look pretty funny. Taz does this all the time when he is stealing the boston's food, I think he thinks that we don't know cause he's hiding the dish :D

yep mine all have the bowl between their front legs too!

My dobermann has to have a special  stand thing that makes his food bowls higher.  If your dogs are tall they might be lying down because it might hurt their necks to stand and eat from the floor

All ours have stands so they stand up, couldn't imagin any of mine laying down, come to think of it, never thought of a dog eating laying down!

mine eat lying down most times, they don't have bowls, except for water, though sometimes they stand,
I wondered this morning whether it was because the grass was wet or not.

mine are inside when they eat! so i cant blame the grass! i think they are just taking  their time & enjoying their dinner!
i never thought it strange until a friend commented!
