I was at a breed club show yesterday, so did not want to take my youngster to two shows this weekend, so, did anyone go to Newton Aycliffe?
If so, who won what?, and, where there any Beardies there? I like to ask a lot of questions don't I? sorry, but just like to know what's going on locally!

Hi Kay, well, there was definetly 1 beardie present, as it sat next to me for a while, but sorry, didnt see it in the ring. BIS was the smooth Chihuahua, Fridys Jazz Solo with Afterglow, and a very nice Lab RBIS. BPIS was a Tibetan Terrier. Clumber Spaniels won the team competition.
bye
Gwen

Not a bad day, Mabel Pug got 3rd, Patsy got 1st & BoB. In Am cockers I bred the winners of Puppy (BPIB), Grad & Open (BoB) :) enjoyed myself hugely, apart from a bit of shenanigans at award of BPIB when an official complaint was put in as the judge handed out the rosette before she handed over the BOB rosette!
How did you club show go?
bye
Gwen
Well Done Gwen (and the gang).
My youngster (19 months) got Reserve Best Bitch in show, behind a one who has two CC's and many RCC's, so I was chuffed. Beardies at her age are so much changing coat, so it was really nice. The judge is judging a champ show next year, so got excited, then found out, if it's the show we think it is, he'll be judging DOGS!!!!!!! Just my luck! Anyway, we had a really nice day!

Hi Janines,
1st in Junior was Bankshill Isle of Shuna of Grinsdale's,Dogmans Bitch was 2nd and I was 3rd with Kemnad Anastasia. I didnt do too well there was only 3 in the class but I suppose its just a bit of fun and experience.Anna just decided that she wasnt going to stand at all.
The dog that got 1st in junior got BOB.Shes a nice bitch, english type really thick set and seems to be doing quite well. Cant remember who got 1st in post grad and open, Sorry

A-ha now I know who you are GSDMAD!! yeah not a great turn out but better than some shows. are you going to northumberland and durham champ show? should be more of our type( german ) there . the ring at Newton Aycliffe wasnt the best 2 steps and turn around doesnt show a dog of properly. You were dead right just fun and experience.

Havent got these schedules. Haven't been to breed class for a long while usually go to Dalton Piercy but I'm gonna start going again when anna comes back into coat shes half out already! Can you please give me the dates and phone Nos so I can get them posted to me Thanks
P.s I like your bitch dogman very nice but how do you keep the weight on her? I have 2 english type that are very thick set and with her being a german type she is slim anyway but she will just never eat and always looks a bit on the thin side

Not keen on those little all breed open shows anyway. I always find that the judge goes for the english type rather than the german type.
What do you guys think? Dont get me wrong like I said its just a bit of fun but it would be nice to get a 1st or BOB every once in a while LOL
I havent figured out how to do the smily faces quite yet

used to go to Dalton piercy also but our shepherd did not like that type of training did not matter how many times we tried with her .
so at the moment we are looking for another all gsd club.

Dalton piercy? dunno that one . we go to the Northumberland and Durham Gsd on which is on Dukes moor (otherside of the road to the town moor in newcastle) the north eastern gsd open show is on the 8th may at wallsend leisure ctr, closing date is 19th april. tyry phoning malcolm marchant on 0191 2412374.
As for weight , Lizy is a rare Gsd pig and i have to watch her weight as she`d eat all day. I feed her on Arden Grange and boy she loves it, much more than euk which she was on.

Thanks dog man, might enter those ones but Anna is due in season in beginning of May,so dont know if I'll be turning up but we'll see. Good Luck anyway.Anna is on James Wellboleoved and has been on several other foods but I've never tried arden grange. Might give it a whirl and see how it goes. If she doesn't eat it i'm sure the others wont mind
