Its really windy today and although we have double glazing its ready for renewing, the wind is very strong and the glass in the french doors is flexing, should we go for double or triple in the doors as i think double is ok for the rest of the house.

Hi Ella,
Go for the triple!  We live on the North-East coast of Scotland (weather can't get much worse!!) and though the windows are double glazed, our front door is triple glazed.  It does seem to make a difference.

yep id say triple too i see what you mean about double , i live right  on the top of a hill and because theres nothing about to break the wind it gets so windy! that the widows move like suction i have a feeling my kitchen window needs to be triple. the door is and it dosent budge i dont know if its cuz the doors alot smaller then the window thou . the rest of the house is double except the patio doors , anyone know what triple glazed windows are like do they make alot of difference??

It's really windy here in Manchester too.  I was upstairs when I heard Lydia barking and was sure that she was in the front garden!!!  Carina is in season and has just been mated, what a nightmare, that would of been all I needed for some stray to mate her.  Rushed downstairs and there were the 3 of them in the front garden.  The double gate at the back was smashed!

Luckily there were no dogs around.

oo no thats terrible . our fences blow down quite alot quite often they break with the wind . might as well build a wall next time .plus the fox wont be able to make a hole :D
