Sorry, guest; no breeding should EVER be urgent. There are lots of details to consider - have you had relevent health checks done, for a start?

Do you understand that if you knowingly breed from untested stock you are liable in law for any genetic problems that emerge in the pups which you could have tested for?

Sorry to put things off for you, but do your homework first, and breed from her if she's still suitable at a season later on in her life

At 18 months your bitch is a little young to become a mum - have you had the relevant health tests undertaken for her.

Don't forget that even though you just want a pet litter you will still be morally liable for any offspring thoughout their lives - could you cope with taking a couple of adolescent males back into your home if their new owners find they could not manage? There are many things to think about with a breeding not just the mating and hoping you get healthy pups and mum.
