Being a staunch supporter of outside house training (hate paper) i'm getting a tad miffed!
The puppy was ill and it's soooo little and it's cold outside :) i have attempted to paper train it (arrrgh!) it has always poo'ed on paper but it pees all around the house!! Ok they are only tiny pees and Dolly's slobber leaves bigger stains, but i have bought puppy pads at £10.99 (rip off) and a spray(another rip off) that is supposed to mimic wee?
It wees i see it and pick it up and put it on paper but it stops weeing? So i have to play the cat and mouse game again.
It never wees after meals or when it wakes up or even after play! It's not doing anything the books tell me it should do lol
I'm beginning to think yorkies are untrainable.
Where am i going wrong?
Have you tried mopping up the 'naughty' wee onto the paper or pad? then put it where you want her to go, pups always go back to the same spot :) I don't agree with paper training myself tho' I think it teaches them that it's ok to do it indoors and you have to train them twice.

I've tried that, i don't pick the pads up immediately i leave it so his scent is still on it but it's not going by the rules!!!
I never paper trained Dolly she went out straight away just getting abit frustrated as i've definitely been on the ball and it's just not clicking in its little head!!!
When Dolly squats she blocks the sun out, but when this guy squats you can hardly notice so believe me it's a struggle :D
Have to keep smiling even though my house stinks of pee :P
