Hi
I hope I phrase this right,
I have owned a Maltese boy in the past, I inherited him when he was just over 1 year old, and he was a fabulous pet and companion, sadly he died of cancer aged just 10 years.(I have also had two rescue dogs, now also sadly gone)
I do not want, nor could I afford, a Maltese puppy, however, I would love another Maltese over 1 year of age.
I read somewhere that sometimes ex show/breed dogs become available for rehoming as pets and I wondered if this was true in the case of Maltese dogs. I have tried the rescues but it seems these precious dogs are few and far between.
If somebody knows of an adult Maltese needing a loving home, can they please let me know.
He/she must be child friendly as I have a child starting school soon.
