Does anybodys dog have foam round there mouth when they walk them? Toby does every time i walk him, dont know why could anyone let me know, he is fit and well and enjoys his walks, he also has a terrible habit of wipeing the foam all over my trousers  bless him, he does have a gentle leader i wondered if it was that doing it, so tried him without the leader but he still foamed.

Bess sometimes does this, I don't know why either so I'll be interested in any answers. Might even do a Google, I'll let you know if I find anything. :) I think the more she's enjoyed her walk the more she does it though so maybe that's a good sign :D

Yes, my lab sometimes does this - and when he shakes it ends up streaked all over his face!  He also drools like crazy when he's sitting waiting for his food.  It's strange because he never drools at any other time, but in the few seconds it takes to put his food down and ask him to sit he is literally dripping! - what a charmer!

My lab has this too.  I think it's just something they get after exercise and is kind of like us getting really thirsty you know, when your mouth feels like glue!  my old science teacher used to foam at the mouth when he had talked all lesson none stop! lol I don't think he had rabies! then again.....

Indy does it sometimes, usually paired with sort of chattering teeth - usually from a really yummy smell!
