Our puppy is 6 months old and we have had her about 9 weeks now. In that time the only damage she had done was rip some wallpaper off the wall at the back door.
I got in today to find a large chunk of our lino ripped up. The max she gets left is 4 hours as my fiance works shifts and he is about most of the time. The other days we take her up to my mum's house at lunch time.
We keep her in the kitchen with the radio on she has toys, chews treats you name it. Why all of a sudden this with the floor?
My fiance suggested putting a hole in the hut and making her a run. Some other people said give her more rooms and she wont get as bored but then she could just chew other things.
Anyone got any advice?
Look at the post under quiet border collie and the same will help.:) Good luck. Great believer in crate training for these problems. Sane owner, sane dog at the end of it.:)

My Boxer was great until he was 11 months old - then chewed the decorative cornice on one of the kitchen units - he's in a crate not when we're out now. Then at 13 months old he chewed it again in between me going out to work and my partner going out (dog goes to work with him - must have been bored waiting to go!).
