My 17 month Golden Retriever has got a snow nose what I'd like some advice on is are they more susceptible to sun burn because of this.

I think they are, if I remember, when I did my research on it ! I try and keep Moose my snow nosed Lab out of the direct sunlight where possible and do put sun block on during the height of the summer months ! :) we tend to walk either crack of sparrows or dusk time during the summer months :)

Thanks for that Lucy I guess there are doggy sun creams out there these days.

I use the cream that is suitable for babies as should be ok for dogs noses I would have thought :)

I have heard of this but don't know much about it. Archie's nose has gone slightly paler at the front - is it possible that it's snow nose ?.
