Need help here .
Some friends of mine moved to spain a year ago and while he was there they got a lovely dog called Shelbi.
The thing is they have moved back here and the dog is still in spain with their friends, they would love to bring her back here for good.Can she get a pet passport and come straight back or does she have to go into quarintine?
Loads of dogs came from abroad for crufts on passports and did not have to go into quarintine.
What is involved with this , could anyone advise?

Have a look at the DEFRA site on the pet passport it takes about 10 months from start to finish the requirements before the dog can enter this country

Yep she can get a Pet Passport, as the dogs getting on it will take 7 months for everything to be finalised.  I am importing a male in September, luckily the person I'm getting him off knows what's needed.  They cannot come in before then, if they do they would have to go into quarantine.
