Hello , My name is Marcelo Dantas , i have a lovely crossed pomeranian, she is nine months old now and is just having her first hit.
I would like to breed har with a pure pomy. How much that would cost me? Where could i take my dog (we live in London - w2)?
Hope you can answer my questions.
Regards
Marcelo Dantas

Sorry, but the owner of a well bred Pom would not consider allowing the dog to mate with a cross breed. Why do you want to breed her? Rescue centres are full of mongrels so why do you want to add to the numbers. As cute pups you may be able to find homes for them but as they grow up and start to be a problem they will be gifted to a rescue centre or PTS. If you care for your bitch leave her be, breeding her could lead to her being hurt or even death, it is the sort of chance you take every time you breed a dog particularly when not breeding like to like. Apart from that she is at least 18 months too young, if you really want to risk your bitches health and life then wait until at least her third season.

dear guest, as you can see a lot of people do not like deliberate crossbreeding on this website. personally i do not have a problem with it as we have bred crossbred puppies in the past. if you are looking for a purebred pom to breed with, as jackie h says a lot of stud owners would not allow you to mate their dog with yours. i suggest you place an add in the local papers/free ads websites, good luck with your search from fluffypups proud owner of several scruffy crossbred terriers and very waggy-tailed springer spaniel/cocker spaniel cross (well, it is my daughters dog actually!)
