I am interested in miniature schnauzers and I am looking at purchasing a puppy(bitch) for showing and breeding. Could anyone offer any helpful tips and advice on these topics as I am a novice. I would be grateful for any sort of helpful advice.

Hi, I own and show two Minis and enjoy every minute of it - I didn't intend to
show at first but just drifted into it and would not know what to do without my
boys. My advice is to go to a good breeder (the KC should be able to give you a list
or contact one of the Schnauzer clubs) of course it can never be certain that a
puppy will turn into a show dog but with the right training and encouragement
you will have a great time. There are lots of people in the breed who will help
with grooming etc if you need it and of course there are always the books to
refer to and this message board!!!
