Funny that!! I said no more after I had 2 kids, I have now got 5 :D  I also said no more dogs after 2, I have now got 4 :D  I will never say the words "no more" ever again. From my experience, it always leads to more :D  Sarah :)

i even managed to go out last night and dance.it has healed within a day.its not sore at all.
but this is a definite no more i dont have many areas left to pierce, the tattoo side of it is different i dont know when i will stop.i intend to have my right outer side covered eventually

Mine was the same - healed within a day or so (supposedly the fastest area in the body ;) ) Had mine for 3 years :)

ugh! id never have a tattoo or peircing! i think humans have ugly enough bodies without putting holes in them or tattoes all over them! u must be masochists i couldnt stand the pain!!!! :-(

- By michelled [gb] Date 13.03.04 15:20 UTC
all ive got done is my belly, normal ears, & i did one at the top of an ear myself(& caused the LEAST problems) i did have my eye brow done some years back, but it just fell out as it healed! & just one tatoo on my lower back! so im quite boring really!
has anyone thought of getting a tatoo of their favorite breed?
- By perrodeagua [gb] Date 14.03.04 16:49 UTC
I want a tattoo of my old girl, but I don't think I'm brave enough.  Also been told that it will be quite painful because of the detail (curly coat)  I'm not very brave.

no it really wasnt all that bad,i was very nervous when i walked in the shop, but luckily there was a female piercer.5 seconds of ouch that hurts a bit and it was done, the piercer was nattering away to me about tattoo's etc and im like can i just put my pants back on before we have a conversation please! :D
i have pictures of my tattoos in my profile but i dont think i will be putting my piercings on there :D

I have my nose, toungue and ears peirced,i also have 4 tattoo's.one on shoulder  1 on each ankle and a butterfly on my forfinger,i must admit i sometimes regret getting the tatts. as i cant wear an elegant evening gown as it just makes it look trashy,i wish i would have got them done in less conspicuous area's,but most of the time i like them tho,i remember when i first met hubby's parents,it was a hot summer's day and i had to wear long pants as i didnt want them to think i was the tattoo lady ;)  i dont cover them up anymore but sometimes i catch them staring,as yet they havnt even asked me about them and it's been over 10 years,LOL.

Mel,the butterfly on my finger was the least painful as it was the smallest,it is only 3 centimetres long and about 1/12 wide,it just felt like hot matches pricking my skin, well you know what i mean,it's my favourite one.
I remember when i had my kids,i made sure i wore long socks, what a site that would have been, long knee high socks with both legs in styrups,LOL. I've relaxed alot about my tatts since then,i was more worried what other people thought of me,but now i couldnt care less what people think! When they actually meet me they realise i'm not a career crim that belongs to a bikie group :D  Alot more "normal" people are getting tattoo's as of late so it has become  more accepted,at one stage it was the "in" thing to do,which is such a stupid reason, some folk dont think about the fact that they are there for life! I once nearly got my exe's name put on my shoulder,i'm so glad i didnt now,the only names i would have on my body are my kids as you know they are gonna be there for life, men come and go ;)

hi christine,
my hubby wanted me to have his name but i said no.i dont even have my kids full names, just their initials inside bubbles,i have a lot of varied comments about my tats, especially when i wear a short skirt and you can see all my right leg.i get people staring asking to touch (bit weird)tutting etc most just want to see and either say you must be really brave or really stupid.i have my tattoos because i like them, not all of them mean something, but they are a part of me now and i dont intend to change.i will keep adding my photos onto my url with the progress of my cover up,so you can see the end result in about 4 or 5 weeks hopefully.
i would like a little tattoo on my finger and it was going to my hubbys initial but im still unsure.i cant wait for my current projects to be finished.on friday im going to have the tattoo on my boob joined up with the one on my arm,i go weekly for my stomach doing, and then i will have my leg finshed and possibly have a band around my ankle and going over my foot.but i dont know if that is where it will stop. :D

Jeez mel,you must have a high pain threshhold :) I spose getting hubbies initials would be o.k?I've seen people with names enblazoned on their backs or arms,no amount of cover up work will get rid of them! If you get his initials done,if anything were to happen in the future you could always get it changed to something else? Now i'm off to see your profile ;)

I supposed I am on the extreme other end of the spectrum.  I am in my early 20's and have never had a piercing of any kind.  I have been allowed to since I was 13 and both my sisters have holes in their ears, but I just have never done it.  I have decided though that part of my Champ Goddess goal is to have a firm enough stomach that I wouldn't mind showing off a belly button ring.  So I think that will be my first piercing.  My BF doesn't know yet and I don't think I'll tell him untill after I get it done so it will be a total surprise.

Drai

Oops, sorry about the double post.

hi drai,
i havent exactly got a smooth stomach but i love my belly piercings(top and bottom)i love going shopping for new body jewellery.2 seconds of "ouch"(not for everyone)and its all over
go for it
mel :)

My thing is that I hate needles, but to see the look on the BF's face when he sees it...I think that might make it all worth while.  The flat stomach thing is just motivation.

Drai21,
I am the queen of pain intolerance,i cant even pluck my own eyebrows! So if i can get pierced, anyone can!!
As Mel said,go for it,who knows, once you start you may not be able to stop,as it is addictive, and you'll end up with a peircing in every spot :D
