This question is asked over an over again.
You have to get your dog all the tests required for the breed. The breed club can clarify what they are but generally Boxers it is heart and I beleive eyes.
You also have to do a bit of showing to find out if you dog is a good example of the breed. The neighbour along the road saying " thats a fine dog" aint enough.
Good breeders will take the bitches only to the best and msot suitable dogs in the country. Ask yourself how do you prove or rank against them..
Sorry if this aint what you wanted to hear. A top pedigree or good name doesn't make a dog automatically suitable for stud. " champions can be mated together and have nothing great in the litter, they have to be compatible in the first place.
