does anyone know where i can get proper Molasses syrup rather than using dark treacle?  i am going to make a batch of satin balls and have been advised that dark treacle is not the same and not as good, nutritional wise.  anyone know if this available in the UK and if so where??

I'm sure you can get it in Holland and Barrat or any health food shop.HTH

could not find any, so went with the black treacle.  wasted my time anyway as he wont even eat them!!  so much for that idea to fatten him up then!
