i have a 6 mth old lab bitch, and i'm curious about opinions on spaying. All the time we've had dogs (as in when i lived at home years ago!), our bitches had their first season and then we had them spayed. Does anyone know if there are benefits to this? I've been looking on the internet and it seems its down to vets opinions whether they have their first season or not. I'm going to call mine this week, however any feedback would be appreciated. I'm looking forward to not being humped whenever i have to kneel!
