Hello,

Anyone any idea where I can find singing lessons - I enjoy singing but am no good at it ;) however I would like to get better and possibly sing for fun, maybe a group or something is their such a thing as a ladies barbers quartet. Any suggestions?

kazzstaff ~ I'm sure you have a lovely voice.  :)
I'm probably not the best person to be offering my services, having never had or given a singing lesson. I can't sing & have no idea of a good voice or a bad one. But I'll do anything for a small fee.  :-D  :-D  :-D

Ok now for some helpful advice. Why don't you try looking on the internet or in yellow pages? I'm sure there are people local to you.  :)

Okay you had me hooked there well done :) Yes not a bad idea actually I will try the yellow pages and have just emailed a ladies barbers shop choir. So you never know do you.

First question is how many alphabets can you recite from one breathe :)

Gosh Karen I am the same.
Funny I should read this now as my 2 youngest are singing on the kareoke NOW - yes at 8.45am and I am itching to go on :D
I love to sing but I am tone deaf!!! My hubby laughs at me but I enjoy it and that is all that should matter.
You know I would love to have secret lessons then become good and get a CD recorded secretly and play it to him and watch him EAT HIS WORDS :D
Can't see it happening though.

It is odd isn't it Staffie, 4 people I have mentioned this too have all said the same...but none will do it I know.
I have not always wanted to sing but somehow I think if I do try then at least in years to come I won't be wishing it was something I had done :)

Good Luck at it - let me know how you get on. Don't think I'll have much luck as in Spain I won't be able to talk the language let alone sing it! :D lol
