where can i buy one for my newfoundland puppy?
(quite cheap, but nice looking, maybe colourful? has to have plastic floor, for leaks etc)
and how long at a time can i leave her in it?? .
eg maximum time, after getting her use to it!
she would have her stuffed kong etc
Im in the UK.
thanks in advance

Playpens are not really suitable for Newfies, they are too big and too heavy you could use a very large cage though. I would puppy proof a room and put a tall child gate on that door, then use that as your play room.

Yep, I would have to agree with Jackie on this one. I bought one for my Malamute when he was a pup. They are far too light for large heavy breeds. Tundra just leaned on it and it went flying across the room! Like Jackie said, a large cage/crate will suffice. With a baby gate, just be careful as Tundra used to throw himself over it to get out. I came downstairs one morning to see Tundra halfway between both rooms! Needless to say, he now has a huge play room (the house!)

Hi,
I don't know how big your house is or could use part of a room but Croftonline do discovery panels which are suitable for inside and outside constant use this easy bolt together system is so easy to use and went put togerther is extrmely strong takes 5mins
to assemble you add panel as dogs grow or more space required they come 3' or 4' in height. At the moment mine are being use for 3 Goldens no problems and also having owned a Newfie before they would definately be option better than croft playpen.
Also when not in use they can be stored flat.
Hope this helps,
Briony:-)

Hi ,
Sorry my mistake these do not come with a floor and are galvanised and more than what you might want to pay.
