Hi i have had my dogue to the vets because he had swolen glands, hes was given some tablets for this and i took him back a week later to be checked. The vet told me he was fine but his slaver glands were a bit swolen. i have been looking up on the net about this and came across thyroid problems, can anyone tell me about this? i see the vet on monday but if there is anyone that can help ill be so greatful

I'm not positive but as far as I know swollen salivary glands isn't a symptoms of thyroid problems (though someone may correct me). I think hypothyroid (underactive thyroid)) is more common in dogs than hyperthyroid (overactive). This lists some of the symptoms
