At a show a couple of weeks ago, someone said that if you have a puppy who's not eating, give them some manure to eat as the dog will love it.  It would make them sick but something in the manure stimulates them into start eating.  I'd never heard of this, has anyone else?

The safest way to do this is to find someone who has a horse who has NOT been wormed recently and that.  A vet told one of my puppy owners to do this after he had a very severe bout of caplylobactor (?sp)

It could be the enzymes in the manure as they help with digestion. I don't know whether it works though. :)
