I live near to a park, although I don't really take my dogs on there much, as I prefer to put them in the car and let them off the lead in the woodland. But people do annoy me who let their dogs off a lead when they have no control over them. When my Cavalier was alive I was walking him on a lead round the park when a huge black labrador came charging across and started riding him. My dog was old and full of arthritis and clearly in pain, and as I tried to get the dog off him, the owner who was a good way away, came across laughing and said it's alright he's been "done", he can't do any harm!!!  I lost my temper with her and then she said, well your dog must be a nasty one as you've got a walking stick. The stick happened to be for my benefit as I had hurt my knee and was limping. Imagine the size and stamina of a young large lab to a 12 yrs old cavalier. Some people never cease to amaze me.

I would pick up one of my dogs 'presents' and post it through her door!

When you see her again you should say 'Hi Mary how r u and Max today' that will really get her back up cause you are being nice to her.
