Although some members have scoffed at my new hobby (lel included :P ) of collecting golf balls and i have even re-routed my dog walks to coincide with golfing ranges (or whatever they are called) golf courses lol.
I even found out the best times to go on walks to enhance my collection more (Mainly Monday morning after the 'Tiger Woods' wanna be's have been putting).
So i am now in posession amongst others of no less than 19 PRO V1 titleist golf balls which for 12 are fetching £18.50 on ebay :D :D :D :D

   Hey Lel, you shouldn't laugh at golf ball collectors...I've meet loads in the last few months they all seem to have their own route and patch too :D
   One man collects in the first section of the park bordering the golf course a lady collects in the next  section and another man wades about in the small brook between the golf course and the park. They all take it seriously, so Mygirl looks like  you've joined an exclusive anorak club ;)

We regularly do a good collection on one of our walks - woods that are by the side of a driving range.  Keep trying to teach the dogs to collect them for me, but the stupid mutts just aren't getting it ;)

They're only range balls though, nothing I could sell - think I'll have to re-think my walking routes ........

   Well Mygirl - I have occasionally handled the odd ball :)  but can't see the poo bag suggestion going down well ;)
But back to the post, on our walks Sal is to busy chasing crows to bother picking up Golf balls and I wouldn't dare..there seems to be as I say the golf ball mafia in my area ;)

Isn't it illegal to collect golf balls? My memory isn't that good but I'm sure some poor bloke was sent to prison for several weeks for doing just that. It was in the newspapers a few years ago. 'Pastures new' or prison!!

I'm sure the bloke your talking about was making £100,000 plus a year from it !!! mind you the way mygirl is going perhaps she wont be far behind soon lol

loulu i don't know what are good or bad balls ;) I was bored and browsed on ebay and saw the pro V1 balls and thought whoopee! There's one in the eye for lel.
Range balls (not worth anything much as far as i know) will have range written on them, i guess they are just standard ones?? I have alot of these, I'm no expert but give me a few months :D
