Does anyone know a breeder of teacup poodles in the UK?

The term 'teacup' is coined by breeders trying to con the public into thinking they are buying something special. All you will get a squat, bulgy eyed, dome headed, totally unpoodle like poodle if you want a 'teacup' (or indeed any other breed that people have 'teacupped').
Basically they are just poorly bred, unhealthy, deformed, deliberately bred small dogs.
Go to a quality breeder of toy poodles, they aren't that much bigger than 11 inches at the shoulder in any event and get yourself a healthy happy hopefully very long lived companion.

Unfortunately so-called Teacup poodles have become the next "must have" dog item, but in reality they are genetically deformed, being bred purely for their diminutive size and profit and for no other reason.  Many US sites will tell you about their wonderful nature etc etc but do not carry out the relevant health tests that "ordinary" well-bred poodles will undergo.

No respectable UK breeder will have teacup poodles...they will only comply with Poodle breed standards and breed for health, temprement (sp?) etc as opposed to dwarfism.

Please do not line the pockets of those that breed to exploit a fashion trend such as teacup poodles (or teacup anything).

Sorry if I have sounded a little harsh but when you buy a dog, you buy a living creature and want that animal to have a long and healthy life...teacup dogs invariably do not have healthy lives and I'm sure you would not wish that on any animal.

Can anyone tell me why these very small dog always seem to have some sort of palsy, (sp) they all seem to shake all the time or is it because they are unable to control their temperature. This is a serious question, not having a go at small dogs although I feel people who deliberately breed undersize to undersize just for money are despicable.
