i have been looking for a dalmatian bitch puppy now for a couple of months and as yet to no avail. I originally started my search in the free ads and ad traders in my area. i then expanded this to surrounding areas. finally i have been on the web looking for puppies. does anyone out there know of a litter either currently or due please. thanks for any help

Please don't go through the papers, net or free ads for a Dalmatian.  Find a reputable breeder who has the relevent health checks done.

If you look on http://www.lancedal.demon.co.uk/toc/index.html it has a puppy list, you can also read about the BAER hearing tests for Dalmatians.  By going through the Dalmatian club for a breeder they will abide by the code of conduct and have all the health checks done.

There are also a lot of websites of club members there, some may be in your area so worth ringing to see if they have any puppies due, if not, they will often know of someone who will have.

Good Luck

Hi Rhiannon,
Go to the Dalmatian Telegraph and click on Puppy List. Make sure any puppy you buy has been BAER tested and has a certificate guaranteeing its hearing status. Good luck.
