Help!!!!
In 3 weeks time I will be getting a new puppy I am worried a little by the prospect of toilet training as I live in a flat. I can take the pup out every hour on the hour during the day but what happens at night time.  I do have a balcony and wonder if I take the pup to the balcony during the night will he get confused and start to try and go there during the day.
Any suggestions would be really helpful as I am worrying about how to do this. Has anybody else trained a pup in an appartment.

I was once in the same situation.  Like you I had a balcony and I put a large seed tray out there filled with earth and put some grass turf on top.

It worked well for me until she could go out when her jabs were complete.

Hi

I live in an appartment on the third floor, and I have toilettrained a puppy.

I don't have a balcony! I had her out once or twice during the night. And in a matter of days she slept through the night!

I had 3 weeks vacation, and by the time I started work again, she went for her last walk just before I went to bed and then not until next morning.

In the daytime she got out once every hour, or there about. She got out after eating, drinking, sleeping and playing!
